I enjoy watching Oprah. I like how she covers a wide variety of topics. I also like seeing all of the different guests who come on her show. I also enjoy the Christmas Episodes where she gives out her favroite things. I enjoy watching Oprah walk out onto the stage, because she wears lots of neat Outfits. I love her Angel Network episodes as well. Oprah's my Hero, because she does a lot of things for a lot of people. :P

I like Oprah, but I am really digging on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. She is hilarious and very kind. She has a nice compliment of celebreties and regular people. Also, she does a good job of bringing out the best in celebreties and also in people as a whole. Her show is positive, yet is still entertaining. She also has an eclectic mix of musicians.

I like Space Ghost:Coast to Coast. Does that count?

I also enjoy Conan O'brien, most of the time. The general silliyness is great, and how they never take themselves too seriously. But sometimes the jokes get too vuglar for me.

I like Conan too. Some people get him and some people don't. I remember when I first watched him, when he first started, and I thought he was horrible and it was the stupidest show ever...then I rediscovered him in college. My husband is not a fan, so we always ended up watching Craig Kilborn.

I don't generally like talk shows. Trisha in the UK is unintentionally hilarious though, for the same reason as Jerry Springer.... both find the most dysfunctional, obnoxious, ignorant and plain stupid people they can and dish it up as vicarious entertainment for similarly challenged individuals. This doesn't apply to all talk shows, but that 'he said, she said, don't you shout at me b***h - SECURITY!!' format in the shows I mentioned strikes me as moron TV... :P

I'm very partial to David Letterman... but that's me...

Good comedy writing... and he satirizes EVERYBODY...

He did really good after 9/11...

Is it just me, or have I misinterpreted the term 'talk show'?

Have just realised everyone else seems to be talking about something different to me.

In which case I can't think of one... unless 'bo selecta!' counts. :D

The Tonight Show has got to be one of the greatest late night talk shows. I'm not just saying that because Johnny Carson died yesterday, even though he was amazing. I'm not a huge Jay Leno fan, but Conan O'Brien is taking over the tonight show in 2009 so then it will be my totally favorite late night talk show. It's just a great show and amazing tradition that -at least when Mr. Carson hosted- jumpstarted the careers of so many amazing celebrities.

Whilst I thoroughly enjoy the Oprah Winfrey show and watch it as often as I can, and I believe it to be the most worthwhile and benevolent show on the air, I must admit that I enjoy watching the Ellen DeGeneres show more. Ms. DeGeneres is just so hilarious and does anything with the guests, it's wicked!

LETTERMAN IS ON FIRE!

I especially love the CBS Top Ten List on his show. This is his #1 "Worst Christmas carol you can hear" (It really is a parody to "Deck the Halls") that was on the list in the Christmas episode of 2004...

I completely cracked up on this one!

I am partial to "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." I think that show is hilarious and being that I am not socially conservative, I thoroughly enjoy it. I think Steven Colbair's (I know it is spelled incorrectly, but I am too lazy to find the correct spelling) "This Week in G-d" segment is a riot.

I have to agree with tallgirl. 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' is so funny, and so TRUE! My parents and I watch his show almost every night. I even bought my dad 'America: The Book' for Christmas.
