Who remembers this game show called Who Wants to be a Millionaire? It started in late 1998 in the UK, and the first foregin version premiered in Australia in April 1999, and then the USA in August 1999.

While the show is still on the air in some countries (albeit with different game formats in quite a few of them), I'm here to talk about the classic version.

It involved 15 multiple-choice questions, which got progressively harder, and in the US version (the classic format), the first question was worth $100, up to the last one, worth, you guessed it, $1,000,000.

Who remembers this game show? I'd love to hear from you. I have such fond personal memories watching the show in 1999 and 2000 when it was a national hit in my country.
