You can't have one without the other

Who else is a fan of Married... With Children? My dad has loved this show for years, and I've recently gotten into it. Peggy is my favorite Bundy, followed closely by Al. I like Kelly and Bud too, just not as much as I like their parents. My favorite episode is the one where Al is forced to work at a fuel pump station because of some kind of debt (can't remember the exact circumstances behind it). I can't remember any exact quotes from the series, but Al's sarcasm always manages to make me chuckle at least once per episode.

MWC was (is) one of my all time favorite shows.

My favorite episode id the one where Al takes Bud to the nudie bar for his 18th birthday... afer they get back, having gotten into Bud's first bar fight, Al reminisces "At the nudie bar, where you can touch a thigh and blacken an eye. At the nudie bar, where you can't touch a breast but you can cave in a chest. At the nudie bar, where the beer gives ya gas but the Bundy's kick ass! At the nudie bar!"

My second favorite I think was a two parter - Peg and Al go to their high school reunion, where each squares off with their high school rival - Al gets into a parking lot fight, and Peggy stuffs the ballot box to be named Reunion queen.

And every time Buck talked was classic.

Liked it at first because it was the antithesis to the ever annoying Cosby Show. After a couple of seasons, it got too crass for my tastes. How much abuse should a guy take before he kills and dismembers his wife and kids and claims justifiable homicide?

Loved it when I was a kid. Even now it's pretty funny although I don't watch it more than once in a blue moon.

All the characters were so outlandish, I don't even have a clue who would be my favorite. Jefferson? Bud maybe? They all are greatness.

That show freaking rocked. It's just the sort of show that you could do back then, but absolutely no way now. You couldn't have a character like Al Bundy today, and he's just so funny.

Actually, that whole family was funny. There wasn't one deadweight character on it.

I wish maybe they'd do some kind of special or something, maybe a TV movie. They did that for Growing Pains and even though the movie itself wasn't very good, it was still nice to check back in on the family.

"Her Cups Runneth Over" was the best episode.
