Does anyone who grew up watching the old looney tunes short like this show? because I do. I will admit it's not exactly like the old shorts, instead it's sort of an animated sitcom with classic characters in new situations and some people especially fans may not like that but I think it's pretty good. The only thing I don't really like are those merries melodies they have in the middle of each episode and those cgi Road Runner and Wile E Coyote shorts because they kinda drive away from the story. The voices may not be up to Mel Blanc standards but they're good. This is one of the only good newer cartoons that is actually good along with a few other shows, mostly action shows e.g. Transformers Prime, Thundercats etc. Too hell with stupid shows like Chowder and Flapjack.

Sorry. I grew up with the tunes as well but I really don't care for this show. It feels like a deliberate attempt to remove anything looney or toony and replace it with a modern-style sitcom full of "awkward moment" humor because that's whats hip and sophisticated these days. And I hate how they turned Bugs into an completely unlikeable and unfunny Mr. Perfect type character.

I consider Chowder and Flapjack to be the best things CN has ever done and much more in the spirit of classic looney tunes than this so I guess we have very different tastes despite being raised on the classics.

I love this show! I love the way that Daffy is so ignorant about everything!

It's kinda like what Disney did a few years ago with a show called House of Mouse in which Mickey Mouse and all his friends from the old shorts ran a night club for all the characters from past disney features. Though I'm kinda mixed about that show because it used so many puns from the films like the food they surfed is named after something from the films and those cartoon shorts that are not as good as the classic ones. I like how they had all those characters together though. If the creators of The Looney Tunes Show were basically gonna make a cartoon series about the Tunes doing what they did in the old shorts but in a modern day universe kinda like that Tom and Jerry Tales cartoon then I really don't think it was gonna work because jokes like that are outdated and work for the old shorts. By taking something old(The Looney Tunes) and trying out something new(Sitcom setting) you've got yourself a pretty good thing going on. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, in this case it works. It's sort of the same thing going with the new Scooby Doo Mystery Incorperated cartoon which is actually pretty good. They took something old(Scooby Doo and the plot of solving mysteries and unmasking monsters) and mixed it together with something new(being set in one location, more darker and dramatic) and it works.

I'm sorry but I really don't like this show. That's why I'm glad I've got my The Essential Bugs Bunny DVD so I can enjoy some of the classic Looney Tunes with my favorite character of all. :)

And I like Garfield and Friends (aired on CBS from 1988-1995) way better than the Garfield Show airing on the Cartoon Network.

For that matter, exactly what gender is Nermal supposed to be?

sorry, but I prefer Chowder and Flapjack over the new looney tunes!

somewhat off topic...
I think they should also reboot Tiny Toons too!
