Is it me or is everyone sick and tired of seeing those 'it' girls/women with little to no talent having the lead roles? I am so sick and tired so seeing these Disney, tween, spoiled brats holding up the spotlight while the "average" actresses are reduced to having supporting/character roles while they are alot more talented and have alot more respect than these "youngsters" The only "it" girl that I do like that put hard work to the table is Ellen Page, but only because she reminds of the one actress that is still to this day one of my favorite actresses and her name is Linda Cardellini.
She is one of the most annoymous actresses working in Hollywood today. She is one of few actress that respects the people she works and her fans, has stunning looks, and talent which is very rare in Hollywood nowadays. The problem I think is that Hollywood has wasted their time with flashes in the pans like Megan Fox, Miley Cyrus, and Kristen Stewart (although I did like her in Adventureland) rather than the real deal such Linda, Jenna Fischer, Elizabeth Banks, and Rashida Jones. Those are the people that deserve to have the attention not those Disney actresses that I mentioned eariler.
The only other problem I have with Linda though is that she does not have the best decision making skills when it comes to finding work or maybe it's because she is working with the wrong agency. I wish that someone in Hollywood can rediscover her as a wonderful actress again just Variety did back in 2000 when she was phrased for her performance as Lindsay Weir on the forever cult classic show "Freaks and Geeks". After all, she was on Brokeback Mountain just a few years eariler. I wish she would branch out into more risk taking roles and get noticed by the public. I believe she can be more than just a two-hit wonder in Hollywood.
Whatever happens with her and her own career, I wish nothing but the best because she deserves much better than she is given now.
As far as these "actresses" go, well I hope you enjoyed the ride because it won't last forever.
