which is better sub or dub??

I do liked subtiles on anime but i dont mind watching the dub but i just worried about the voice acting on certin carachters

depends on who is doing the dubbing.
Pioneer tends do to an ok job. It also depends on the anime. If its an anime dealing with lost of asian or spiritual themes, the dubbing is going to be more innacurate then subtitles (assuming the subtitles are accurate). I'm a subtitle person myself. I know enough of the japanese language to know what they are saying most of the time regardless but the subtitles help. sometimes Its a completely differnt movie depending on how you watch it. I find it more interesting to see it in the original language because that is closer to the actual movie. I apply this rule for all forigen films not just anime.

in general i prefer subtitles because i have a limited knowledge of latin-based languages so i can sometimes tell when a particular subtitle is inappropriate. also a strange thing happens, in that often the subtitles seem to "disappear" and it seems i am understanding what the characters on screen are saying, no matter what the language.

Dub. I don't know Japanese and I don't pretend to know it. If a dub is really THAT bad I would just use subtitles.

I agree. I only watch an anime subbed when either a.) it's not available in English or b.) the dub is heavily edited. I have the complete collection of Tekkaman Blade (which is a sub only set) and I've watched Ronin Warriors subbed, so I don't completely hate subs.

Subs, no doubt about it. Unless one of the main characters' original voice actor decided to give him/her/it an annoying voice, but I might still preffer the original if the other voices are well done.

Please no sub vs dub fighting, I say that neither is better, there is only personal preference and everyone should be alowed to like their own preference. Well aslong as they at least try both which is the mature thing, personally I prefer subtitled and I got their by trying, still it is ok to choose your own.

I understand that some say that "why watch something in another language if you can watch it in your own?", and that is perfectly ok and watch do watch some in dub, but for me it is not just about the words, but it is the spirit behind and such behind and sometimes a voice you just don't get otherwise. For instance the cuteness of Chiyo-chan, you can give her a cute dub, but saddly it just can't get that high. Or on the other side of the scale Kamina from Gurren Laggan, though it is awesome, there is just something in the original had the character with a powerful performance that rejected logic that knowing the words was not needed.

I like the dub of Hellsing, where they were Crispin Freemen really was able to put a spirit behind Alucards voice. And I think that being able to watching a show in dub alows a show be enjoyed without putting full attention on the screen, for insance Lucky Star being able to just sit back watch girls talk about Chocolate Cornets, what moe means and other junk.

Subtitles.

Dubbing, I prefer to understand what they're saying rather than to just read what they're saying.

I prefer subtitles. I like to hear how people express themselves in other languages even if I know nothing about those languages.
Dubbing is good for comedy value.
Perhaps with cartoons, dubbing does not matter so much.

sub. Especially for films where the languages are Asian.

I prefer subtitles because often with dubbing, you often lose the actor's feelings about what they're actually saying.

It really depends on the anime/movie. Sometimes both are enjoyable to watch for me or maybe it's because I'm too used to watching them in either one form or the other. The Americanized edits, silly as they are, are sometimes fun to watch too.
