I made a clay animated film about 15 or 20 years ago and when I loaned the only Super-8 copy to a "friend" so he could compose some music for it, he promptly lost it. He Lost The Only Copy!! ! Sigh.

I haven't really done any clay animation since then but the other day I got an itch to experiment. There's nothing brilliant here, but it think there might be some stuff that is worth exploring. I kinda like the characters in the last segment.

NOTE: The clips are all silent. Don't try to adjust your set.

Anyway, feel free to comment. I'm mainly sharing these because I thought they were fun.

Looks pretty good. There is something so pleasurable doing stop motion. The immediacy is great and now, with the ability to create digitally and have instant playback, it's even more fun. No more waiting to see processed film!

Oh yeah, I tried going to your web site but I get a malware alert from Google. Says something on your site links to something dangerous.

Thanks for the comments about my animations. Furthermore, thanks for pointing out the issue on my website. I deleted the whole thing and re-uploaded it from a clean source. Hopefully that gets any evil re-directs off the site. It should be clean now, but it will probably be a while before google rescans it.

I still get the warning but if you check the diagnostic link Google leaves it says it is safe. Go figure.

Wonderful photography on your site.

I did a bit of clay work at college. I have lost about 5 or 6 of them as I saved them at college or on one of my USB sticks which I later lost... I think that they were stolen... To anyone watching this and thinking, 'what's the big deal?' you try it! You have to sit with a camera for HOURS and if you so much as nudge the camera you have to start over.

Good job, it looks so smooth!

Those are really cool, and I love the weird creatures. :)

Stop motion has always fascinated me, I wish I had the patience to try it sometime.
