IT Crowd...can you relate to the "standard nerd"??

I find IT Crowd hilarious, second best to Red Dwarf, and even above other brilliants like Blackbooks, Father Ted and Black Adder.
Why? I can relate to the "standard nerds"! !! !!
Even though I am not an IT person, I still think I classify as a nerd with my special interest, and with next to no social skills. I love how Moss and Roy use the mobile texts to talk like "normal" men about the footy,
And Moss being bullied in the park, made me crack up , and feel sympathetic.
Who else loves IT?
Or even( dare I say) not love IT?

It has been several years. Is a new series already out?

The IT Crowd is amazingly funny. I'd rank it above Father Ted, but I don't think I can rank it above the combination of Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey, they're just too great together. I'll rank it as a tie.

I think the new series is due in June, so really soon!

Definitely one of the best shows out there. The new series airs June 25th in the UK (alas, I'll have to wait for the DVD or until BBC America re-airs it) and a 5th season is rumored to have been commissioned. I do love Black Books too, but maybe just fractionally less. It's a small fraction, though!

They even taped it and used and answering machine in one episode

i'm not very sterotypical nerd, but i do think the show is hilarious.
