I remember it from reruns but that was a long time ago.
The only thing that sticks out in my head is the Creation story episode and a dinosaur statue. The professor had a huge house with wood floors and a fountain out front. That's really unusual for Japan, especially since the American organisation that financed the studio had the series created specifically to teach Japanese children about Christianity, though I don't know if they expected converts. If it's set in Japan why not have a Japanese house.
On a similar topic: back then Japanese, American, and British animation companies hired native artists to draw the cells. Thirty years later everyone contracts that work to south Korea because because its cheaper.
