I would take puppets and hand-drawn animation over CGI anyday.

This was my second son's favorite movie, he has AS and he would watch it over and over again as a boy. When he was three he drew the trees that were in the forest and he did an incredible job, they really looked like they were alive. I saved that picture.

I remember this, it was the first one I saw and I would love to watch it again!

Considering what a popular old film this is, I'm surprised it was only a TV movie.

I actually saw this when I was young, and I liked it more than the newer version...

I remember renting that movie from Blockbuster when I was younger. I think I liked it, but I thought it was weird that some of the creatures were cartoons. I watched it in the early 2000s, so I was not accustomed to that sort of thing.

I loved this series as a kid. I remember renting this and the Silver Chair over and over again. I wish they made the rest of them.

I love this film so much, I can quote it word for word, lol. I think it's one of the best children's films out, and the books are incredible too.
