I think we as Aspies can relate to Batmans inability to fit in with society and that he has to create a fake self (AKA Bruce Wayne) in order to fit in.

Yes, precisely. He's also obsessed with details and cool toys.

And he gets to beat the crap out of bullies.

What's not to like? :P

Yeah lol I have always thought those lyrics from Phantom Of The Opera kind of fit the Bruce Wayne/ Batman character and found this picture and thought it was perfect to add that text in.

Currently my desktop wallpaper :D

I thought it was great and enjoyed Johns take on The Joker... However Mark is still best.

Batman is just an amazing character, and Nolan's depiction of him in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is, well, the most gritty and realistic batman that I have seen in my life. However, I do still enjoy Burton's take on Batman though, and never saw any of the series from the 60's at all.

I do think you're right. Perhaps that's why I find robin annoying. I would have dismissed him right away.lolIt's much better and easier to work on your own. Plus, he's my favorite 'type' of hero. He's not so...good. He's much darker. Like my Antillano. He was a hero, but the guy was a thief. Plus, he wears a cape. I love capes. And he's logical and thinks with his head most. I like that. I don't like it when someone like lets their heart, their emotions kind of get in the way. It does always look like he has right priorities.

I actually sympathise with villains, too! On my telenovelas, I LOVED Romina and Carlota on En Nombre del Amor. On Mi Pecado Rosario is my favorite, although she's not a true villain, but more of an anti heroine, I think.

I certainly like Batman for being the "outsider", but what really seals the deal for me regarding the Dark Knight is his cavalcade of enemies.

It's like watching a circus of weird.

You've got an evil clown, you've got a fat debonair dude with a top hat and amazing umbrella, a guy obsessed with torturing you via riddles, some chick in a cat suit, some guy who looks like a huge pile of sh!t, an Indian dude who jumps into some mystical pool to keep alive, a guy who loves winter, a thug who looks like a mexican wrestler on steroids, a giant humanoid bat, some reptilian guy, a dude that dresses up like a snake, and the list goes on.....
