Have any of you seen that new geico commercial where they spoof reality shows by having a newly wed couple move into a terrible small house. The celing is only like 5 feet high!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I laugh like crazy each time I see that commerical.

Yes, Scoots, I've seen it! The first time I saw it I thought it was actually a new reality show (before they showed the Geico logo). I was in absolute shock and thought, 'Reality TV has really gone too far.' It is a pretty funny commercial, though. Geico's are always amusing.

You're a Survivor fan? My parents (especially my dad) is obsessed with that show. I think it's just okay, but our family usually watches it together. When it comes to reality television, though, my mum and I like Amazing Race.

I also like American Hot Rod, American Chopper, Southern Steel, Ghost Chasers and Proof Positive on the Scifi network

Unfortunately, I have rarely found the GEICO commercials to be entertaining. The caveman ones were probably my favorites, as well as the one where the guy does "the robot." Other than that, they have run some of their gags a bit too long for me. Sort of like that Aflac duck, which strikes me as one of the most annoying gimmicks in advertising history.

I like Geico commercials (like the one with the gecko speaking with the kind of plummy accent I'd love to have) mostly ’cos I like Geico. It's true - they cut my car-insurance cost by a third. Got it after I lost one of my jobs and really needed the break. Should have had it all along!

Anyway I thought 'Tiny House' was a real reality-TV show until about halfway through it the first time I saw it.

So don't diss the gecko. The gecko rules OK.
