After the success of his Alice in Wonderland film, I wonder what's next for director Tim Burton? Me, I would like to see another movie with the same animation from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. I really like those movies!

The next Tim Burton movie is Big Eyes, which I'm very excited about. It's about these crazy artists in the 1960s who painted these children with big eyes and became insanely rich and famous but then they got divorced and maybe only one of them actually did the paintings. Could be as good as Ed Wood.

After that comes the full-length, stopmotion animation version of Frankenweenie, so Kyle, you will be happy soon.

And then, unless IMDB is wrong which it often is, we can all rejoice for Tim will be making Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

In addition to the films that Vector mentioned, Tim is also making a stop-motion Addams Family film and a remake of a 60s vampire soap opera called Dark Shadows (which is the one I'm really excited about).

Addams Family?! YES! My mom got excited about Dark Shadows! She used to watch it when she was a youngster.

I did hear that he might make an Addams Family movie in the style of Corspe Bride. I also heard something about making a movie based on Maleficent, the villain from Sleeping Beauty. I think it's either her origins or the actual story from her point of view. It would not be in continuity with the animated Disney movie, sort of like what he did with Alice in Wonderland.

...Wife, now. Partner, wife, same difference, she could get quite a bit of his stuff if she wanted to get divorced. So make advances at your peril. He'll set the two Christophers on you, otherwise.

Not to mention that she is wicked with a wand.

I would love to see a Burton take on Doctor Who (he's one of the few Americans who I reckon could do an American Doctor Who well), just so long as he didn't get Johnny Depp in the main role. Depp may be quirky and do a good British accent, but he's no Doctor. James Nesbitt, though...wouldn't you reckon he would make a great Burtonesque Doctor?

I swing both ways, so I figure I could proposition them with a threesome if the opportunity ever presented itself. Which it won't, because they're, y'know, super-famous and I'm one of the unwashed masses.

I can't remember hearing that might happen, though I probably have but just forgot. There is an animated movie called Dorothy of Oz in the works and will be released next year. Burton or Depp have nothing to do with it.
