Good, well written, and funny show. Monk definitely has OCD. He seems like he could have Asperger's.

He definitely has OCD and something else, the something else appearing to be mild autism/Asperger's. I agree completely. OCD alone doesn't explain the entire character. I think of every character from everything I've ever watched or read, Monk is perhaps the one I've related to the most.

Yes! I always felt that he had Asperger's.

I didn't see too many shows. But the one with John Tutturo playing his brother was classic. They did have some whole episodes on Hulu.

I so agree that he as asperger's. I see him, and in many ways, I'm like 'that's just me!'.lolI remember that episode when in one of his cases, he had to pretend to work in an office, and everyone liked him because like he was all quirky and liked to organize things, the same thing happens to me at work. Things my parents find annoying about me, everyone at work loves, like how I like to organize things and such.

I have often thought of Monk as an Aspie as, apart from his OCD, he never seems to have any understanding of sarcasm and he never seems to notice when he's getting in peoples' way and when people are annoyed with him and stuff.
