I saw this today. It was a fantastic movie.

I went to the 10am session. Since it was a weekday there was just me and a man in the cinema. Both of us had the day off work.

Has anyone else seen the movie?

what did u think of it?

i thought it was okay. a little short in length, could have expanded on some of the relationships/etc, and also cut down on the 3 simultaneous scenes on the screen sequences. i give it 2 out of 4 stars.

The story was obviously not nearly enough to base a movie on. Everyone knows exactly what is going to happen, and what happens is really dull.

That said, the folks who made the movie made the best of it, and I was pleasantly surprised by it (my wife dragged me to it). It exceeded my expectations, but those expectations were very low. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, particularly not to anyone squeamish, but it was ok.

That movie is one of the things that scare me about being alone all the time. Scary movie.

I really enjoyed it, I must admit I was a little unsure how they were going to make something of it after the first half hour or so, but they did well, it kept me really focused(which is something). I thought the expansion of his mind in the movie was really well portrayed, I could relate a lot although I'm sort of constantly stuck in that inward looking process.

3 out of 4

Danny Boyle definitely knew what he was doing with such a sparse screenplay. The sparseness in the screenplay did help the movie a lot. I enjoyed it very much.

I thought it was really good, unconventional as a film, but the story is pretty unique.

I particularly thought the sound effects they used were very well thought out and incredibly effective.

I was cringing, grinding my teeth and curling myself in a ball (as much as you can with a bit of self respect in a cinema!) in my seat through a lot of it because of the sounds and some of the visuals.
Incredible what they can do with what actually, script wise, was very little; the atmosphere, general sense of claustrophobia and hoplesness was immense.
