I thought Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was hilarious, though most people seem to hate it. FLCL was also also funny and very random at times.

Well lately I have been watching Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka (Is he really a zombie?) and it definetly fits, the guys a "zombie who ends up living with a cute mute necromancer, a tsundere selfproclaimed genious chainsaw weildaing magical girl, a vampire ninja who can barely go a sentence without calling him "piece of sh!t". And that is barely going into the randomness of this series.

I have to mention Hayate no Gotoku (Hayate the Combat Butler), it is one of the funiest and random shows I have seen. Including: insanely overpowered butlers, angry pot plants, santa gets punched, narator makes fun and fights with the characters, talking animals, crossdressing, random references, one of the worst teacheres ever, time travel, giant mechs, ghosts, giant roaches, vengefull video games and all sorts of breaking the 4th wall. Ah... I believe the random and funniest anime I ever saw was Cromartie High. It's completely hilarious and random; I enjoyed it so much.

Since others are mentioning it I will admit that FLCL is the most random anme I have seen, although I have seen way funnier series.

I really liked Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo too. I miss that show and it's a shame that only 2 DVDs of it were put out in the US.
