I love Disney movies. I haven't seen many Pixar movies, though.

I absolutely love them. I just don't get to see a lot of them at the cinema (no one else wants to see them, or at least won't admit they do), with Toy Story 3 being the first exception in many years, which I saw with my older brother :D

I know people say that hand drawn animation is better than computer animation, but when it comes to Pixar and a few Dreamworks film computer animated movies rules.

Just like you, I like the cartoon drawing ones better. I do not like Pixar movies... Not my kind of stories or humor.

For 3D CGI movies, I'd go for Monster House and How to train your dragon. I liked Bolt, too, and some parts of Tangled (loved Gothel).

I guess I am more into fantasy than "simple" comedy without magic or swords or monsters, so there are even some Disney cartoons I do not like...

I haven't even seen all of them really but Finding Nemo and The Incredibles are both tremendously good films. Ratatoille was ok. I've only seen bits and pieces of the Toy Story films and they really didn't do all that much for me.

Yes! I love allof Pixar's movies even their shorts. I personally think that their animation is incredible and have amazing storylines. Iwatched a documentary about them and have wanted to become an animator ever since. But I understand why you like the traditional animated films better. They are also really good, especially the old Disney ones, and they take so much work that I think it is amazing that they ever get finished. I guess I just like animation as a whole cause I could watch any aimated movie as long as its good. Sorry I kind of went of a little :)

I like many of Pixar's films, but I still think they need to catch up with traditional 2D animation as far as creating expressive human characters. Pixar's the best out of numerous studios, however. It irks me how stiff character animations are in films like the popular Dreamworks series Shrek compared to the characters in The Princess and the Frog.

I like them for what they are, but they are not classics. 3D animation might be cheaper and less time consuming, but the classics just have that flare to them that no 3D animation will have. I remember watching Lady and the Tramp when I was a kid, and I loved the movie and love the animation. It has a flare to it that 3D animation will never have, I really cannot describe it.

Also too, I love Loony Tunes and Merrie Medodies not only for the hand drawn animation, but but it's stories. Years ago when these animation films and shorts were made, the culture in America was different. I like the stories because it reflected the culture that I liked, just in the phrases, stories, and ideas that are largely ignored today. Not only that, the comedy was clean and genuinely funny. Watching them always cracked me up when I was a kid and now. Culture has changed too much from the way I liked it and you see that in the Disney Pixar films of today. I'm not saying they are bad or inferior to the older stuff, I'm saying they are what they are, but I prefer the older stuff.

I prefer the traditional 2D hand drawn cartoons, the Computer generated ones are usually based too much on basic 3D geometric shapes and look really boring. Most of the stories Disney uses are not that great really so that does not help their cause.
