I prefer House's humour, and he's got a more self-destructive side and deeper character which is more interesting to watch unfold.
Also, scrubs has ended now, so Dr. Cox's character is set in stone where as House can still develop further.

I would love to see the two of them go toe to toe in a verbal battle of wits. Maybe someone has done this as fan fiction. Who would win? Would Dr. Cox end up clocking Dr. House? How would House get vengeance?

I think House would win. Dr. Cox's insults are generally not as witty as House's.
Cox is more snappy and shallow and House is more clever.

Then again, i'm a big fan of both.

Cox would just go for the blatent attack whereas House would be sneaky and more Sherlock Holmes' about it.
