Is this the end of "South Park"?

I'm amazed no one has discussed the midseason finale from Wednesday night. They really make it seem like the series is about to close. If so, I think they found a good way to go. But I think maybe Matt and Trey just didn't have any other story ideas and wanted to share their frustrations, especially with this season which hasn't been good on the story front.

What do you think?

It looks like this is part one of a two parter if they do come back in the fall.

hm don't know if it is the end, hope not. I liked the episode very much and would love to see the resolution.

Because they're contracted until 2011, this might be the last season, but they still have a few more episodes on order. So, it's unlikely that they will renew their contract but I do expect enough new episodes to fill out the current order.

Is it just me or are Trey and Matt setting us up for the biggest "GOTCHA!" joke ever or is it really ending? Judging by an article ive read that says that 2 more seasons (till 2013) are rumouredly in the pipe line, i'll take a wild guess and say the former...
