this is one of my favorite recent movies. It takes place in Scotland round about 1000 AD. An enslaved mute warrior pit against other warriors. He eventually escapes then happen upon some Viking crusaders (yes, they did exist) and they all board a ship en route to the holy land but finds themselves somewhere they didn't expect.

Violent, dark, gritty, atmospheric, spooky.

A+ for me.
