movie with corn syrup bomb in a high school

me again.

looking for movie that starts out with a bomb in a school that turns out to only be corn syrup . movie ends in a shipyard or on a boat.



also, what is the movie that starts out with 2 guys attaching bombs to a bridge when they see a car driving over and one bomber says to the other "wait - theres a kid in the car" and rushes back to stop the bomb, cant remember if his colleague kills him or not.

Sounds like one of the "Die Hard" movies -- maybe the 3rd one.

I recall Sam L. Jackson being in it, and he and Bruce Willis have to solve various riddles.

Although it doesn't really start with those bombs in the school (it's more in the middle) , it is indeed Die Hard With a Vengeance, the so-called explosions were used as distraction so they could steal all the gold.

I have no idea what the second movie is about, but now i'm curious.

yeah, as for the second movie, i can only remember blibs and blobs

two guys attaching explosives with timers to a bridge
they spot a car going over it, and seem fine, until one notices theres a kid int he back of the car
one says: "wait! theres a kid in the car"
the other says something like: "well they'll go for one bumpy ride" or something like that

one is ok with this and the other is not, so he goes back to attempt to disarm the bombs so the car can pass safely
when they catch up, the guy says to the other "you cant take a hint" or something

as i say, blibs and blobs.
