Last night we finished watching our way through Doctor Who series 13, six related episodes collectively called "Flux".

They are to be commended for accomplishing such an ambitious story during the Pandemic.

But, eh.

I think it was too ambitious and ended up being a jumble. A beautifully done, nice to watch, jumble.

I would agree with that. It's been a while since I watched season 13, but I remember being a bit lost at times.

Will Trent (2024) on broadcast TV and again on Hulu this morning. All of these were watched/re-watched this morning.
Season 2, episode 1 - Me Llamo Will Trent

A new character was being introduce. She is a bomb specialist who is flirtatious with Will. She respects his mind, and respects her mind. There is chemistry. That's all I will say. I enjoyed the episode.

Quantum Leap (2024) on broadcast TV and again on Peacock
Season 2, episode 12 - As the World Burns

The character of Hannah Carlson was introduced in episode 3. She is in the past. She is an intelligent waitress that Ben encourages to go to college and pursue her interest in physics. She knows he is a time traveler. She becomes a reoccurring character as Ben Song leaps into several more stories and she shows up. A relationship builds between them, and he witnesses glimpses of her life unfolding over the course of a week in his life, but over a decade for her. I thought this was interesting and wondered how it would play out. Reminded me a bit of Doctor Who and River Song. We learn her importance in episode 12.

Quantum Leap (2024) on Peacock
Season 2, episode 13 - Against Time

A twist involving a character was revealed. I actually suspected this twist. I was just lucky. I had several suspicions concerning this character, and only one played out.

Night Court (2024) on Peacock
Season 2, episode 9

Just fun.

The Good Doctor (2024) on Hulu

Season 7, episode 1 - Baby, Baby, Baby

The title is cleaver because it is about three babies. Shawn and Lea's baby, and two babies that need a heart transplant with only one donor heart available. I was told this is The Good Doctor's last season. I'm okay with that. I prefer a series come to an organized ending rather than "Guess what. That cliff hanger we left you with? Live with it. The show has been canceled."

All of this was on last night. Will Trent conflicts with Night Court. The 9pm (CT) Quantum Leap conflicts with The Good Doctor. Thanks goodness for streaming.

The rest of today will be watching eight hours of Formula One testing. The new season begins. Then tonight, there is Not Dead Yet and Abbott Elementary. I might have time to was two episodes of Hello, My Twenties. I will not torture anyone with reporting those.

And Barney Miller is one show that did that quite well, as shown here from the bottom of the last episode, "Landmark, Part 3" (OAD Thursday, May 20, 1982 on ABC).

That episode of The Twilight Zone where a young, unhappy married couple decide to take a ship from New York to London. Everyone else on board is elderly, and they try to get the young couple to get off the ship before it departs. Later, the old folks cast them off to sea in a lifeboat. Since they were all aging, they made some pact to sink the ship and all die together, but they didn't want to kill the young couple.

This is one of those episodes not normally shown in syndicated re-runs.

Finished up season 2 of Hello, My Twenties. Korean title translates to Age of Youth.

I was intrigued the epilogue of episode 13.
The descriptions reminded me of any four of the five women. But it has been pointed out the male voice is the character Im Sung-min, Ji-won's "friend and underling." Ji-won is played by Park Eun-bin.

I performed a web search, and found this article.
Park Eun Bin Reveals The Truth Behind “Age Of Youth 2” Epilogues Hinting At Her Character’s Death

Stranger (2017) on Netflix, but I understand it also streams on Peacock.

Season 1, episodes 1 through 4, out of 32 (16 episodes per season, two seasons)

It is about a prosecutor, Hwang Shi-mok (Cho Seung-woo) that shows no emotions. It isn't autism. It is related to a surgery he had for an auditory problem. It hasn't been explained in detail yet. He visualizes problems, is methodical, and thinks things through before coming to a conclusion. Regardless, he is not always correct. That is how the story starts. There is a murder. He finds the person that was last known to be at the scene (a tv repairman), and he has him arrested. Others think he is rude and arrogant. He is only half of the equation. The other half is a detective, Han Yeo-jin (Bae Doo-na). The show has not focused on her has much, but she is very smart, and doodles/draws a lot. She possibly the only person he trusts.

This story starts with a murder and slowly points to multiple people has the killer or involved in the killing. The murder seems to be leading to something very big, politically. We are spoon feed clues, so nearly everyone seems involved.

Murder, mystery, thriller.

It is still on Netflix if you have that, so you could always go back to it!

Supernatural is on my list of things to watch. :)
