What is your favourite comedy sketch or scene?
I can vaguely remember some obscure ones that nobody else ever made much fuss about, and that I cannot find on YouTube. I was going to start a separate thread to ask if anyone could help.
- One is a Beavis & Butthead scene. Not exactly a comedy sketch, but it's a scene where Beavis & Butthead are watching TV, and there's an ad for a new show about some biker, and the voiceover says something like "the man is truly insaaaaaane", and Beavis & Butthead are suitably impressed.
- One is a scene from the British sketch show Smack The Pony where this woman (actress Sally Phillips) is talking to some guy at a party, and the guy is just coming out with the most arrogant, boorish stuff, and the woman is just totally smitten. Then he says something innocuous and she smacks him in the face (or something).
- One is a scence from Green Wing where some doctor (Guy) starts swearing at the dinner lady because she didn't give him as much food as his friend.
- One is a scence from King of the Hill features a dribbling drug addict working at Hank's store.
