When I first heard about this movie, my initial reaction was mediocre at best. It looked like a typical Disney fantasy-drama with a predictable bittersweet ending and superficial depth, but seeing the trailer, I'm kind of ambivalent. There are some iffy things about it, such as the "dreaming of a perfect child" bit, but otherwise this looks better than I expected. I'm willing to discuss some deep stuff from the premise alone, because I'm such an intellectual snob.

BTW, was that Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain?
