Yay or nay, so far? Why do you feel that way?

I'm not going to watch because of the whole "Jack Harkness sacrifices children" development, added to the fact that more than half of the cast is now dead.

Really, if they had canceled the show after Series 2 I would have been a lot happier.

That's 'Children of Earth' isn't it?

I'd have preferred they continued 3 back in Cardiff in the format of 2. Children of Earth could have been a very scary 3 parter for it.

I hear a lot of grief about the early series for camp lame single parters but that's largely what I was watching for.

So, No. The creepy I can handle but it's going far too slow for me. I pray Doctor Who doesn't follow the same path.

I haven't watched any of it yet. I loved seasons 1 and 2, and watched 2 or 3 episodes of the first mini-series, then suddenly had no interest in it at all. :? That was back in December I think, but I hope to finish it and watch this new "season" someday.

I'm enjoying it, but I think they're not doing much with Jack's mortality, it would have made an interesting subplot. I thought Jack always wanted to find a cure to his immortality? It would've been interesting to see him question life and death and it might raise a few moral questions for the viewer.

Complete pants. Much disillusionment.

It's just not the same programme at all.

bit wary of miracle day and i dont know if its screening yet here so i havent watched it. i dont like the fact that all my favourite characters are now dead and that they have, for some reason, relocated to america- why must everything be centred around the US? i actually liked the structure of the first 2 series. its not that the third was bad in regards to structure, i just prefered to see them work things on a case by case basis. i liked the 3rd series' storyline but im still bummed about ianto.
