There are dozens of threads about this show, it might be more efficient if you were to look for one, I'd wager you'll find one on the next page of this sub-forum.

I love the show. It's important to us Aspies to have a positive face for our condition on TV, and to be able to laugh at ourselves at the same time. We have both in Sheldon.

Yep, Sheldon certainly is one of us. I didn't get into the show from the beginning. Didn't hear enough about it or just didn't know what it had to offer me. But I had a couple people mention it and I turned to getting the dvds on netflix. I happen to love it so far, but I only have seen as far as Season 1. I'm going to see more eventually.

Last week I purchased the first three seasons on DVD after reading a post on this forum recently. I've only watched the first 10 episodes so far. Very funny. The characters seem to represent different aspects of my personality. I look forward to watching more this weekend.

Well said! When I first encountered the show while changing channels, I assumed that it would be a sitcom version of "Revenge of the Nerds." Later, I read about the series here on WP. I have been hooked ever since I gave it a real chance.
