Do face-morphs in movies freak you out unproportionally?

Like in horror movies for example, I can have all the slashing and gore-fest I want but when I witness unexpected "freak-out" face-morphs my veins explode.

My daughter is particualrly freaked out by such things. She's only 6, so I'm not talking about horror. An example would be when the face of Martin Short's character in Inner Space changes. She loved the film, but had to hide her eyes when this happened.
