One of my all-time favourite things is The X-Files (... k.. honestly always been just a little bit obsessed and it never went away, lol). Anyone else like it??

I was doing my quarterly info search tonight to see if there is any new news on the possibility of the next movie. There was.

Below is a link to the article of info (Carter/Anderson/Duchovny +3rd movie) and two links to petitions for fans to sign to convince the evil FOX monster that a third movie is a brilliant idea! Especially since the theme of the third movie was always supposed to tie into the whole 'end of the world' scinerio that's supposed to come at the end of next year (Don't know about you guys, but I hope to see it made, and view it, before I die). This is not supposed to be a stand alone like movie #2 (I want to believe), but follow more into the 'conspiracy episode storyline' that the fans loved so much.

What are your fav: episodes, characters, quotes? What are your thoughts on another movie?

David Duchovny is my favorite Male actor. When I was little, my dad would watch it. I remember the episode about the woman who was carrying the devil's baby really scared me, so I never watched it after then. But then i started watching it when i was about 15 with my brother. I've seen every episode in order except for the last few episodes of the 9th season.

I think another movie would be amazing! I saw the last one with my brother in theaters, it was great!

Honestly, I hope they never make another X-files movie. The show, and the two movies that have already been made where very good. But if they make another X-files movie, it will probably end up like the new Star Wars movies.

ShadesOfMe, my shepherd is named after him, my other 'Krycek' (he passed this last Aug). I agree that was a scary episode. Only episode I didn't watch (refuse to) was Hollywood AD. Not a big fan of 'wives' being put in a show, epecially a show that CC said would never have any famous people in it in the beginning. I remember Whoopi Goldberg asked to be in it in the early 90's and was turned down. I think she would have been a good addition myself. Cher turned down her role too and was later said to have regretted it, though her stand-in did a really good job.

Titangeek, the third movie is supposed to be a conspiracy movie (from the conspiracy arc of the show) It would have to do with the end of the world/Mayan calendar type thing that's to happen (theoretically) next year. As the Mayan calendar ends next year some people think the world will end - makes for good X-Files viewing! It's a fitting way to bring back the best of the show.

I think it's good that X-Files comes back with a new movie every few years, as it keeps all these copy cat paranormal shows in line. Let Daddy remind them where they stand in the pack.
