I love the Far Side comics and most aspie-ish people I know also like them. NT's, however, don't tend to be so amused... coincidence or is it really aspie humor?

I miss the Far Side.

I like Far Side! Even in NZ we get them in the newspaper. One of my favourites was in this morning's one: Theatre of the Gods ("Oh great, it's Atlas! How much you wanna bet he sits in front of ME!").

It would be great if there were enough of us to support all the Far Side spin-off merchandise (coffee mugs, tee shirts, etc.) and books I see. :D As it is, I think it appeals to a wide spectrum of people with twisted senses of humor, including lots of NTs.

I love Far Side too! We don't get his comics in the paper in Argentina, but I have a book or two of his. I've been rereading them since I was little. Now I look back, I see that at first I didn't understand almost anything, and every year I could get more of them...

You're from Argentina? Well, I never knew that!

I think the Far Side is slightly hit-and-miss, much like the old Monty Python television shows. But like Python, the good bits overshadow the bad bits magnificently :D

Does anyone here know of the "Close to home" comic by John Macpherson? It's a lot like Far Side (which I miss), but much more realistic.
