I'm sorry to hear that, Tim. I know how much you love The Simpsons so that must be really hard on you.

I used to love the Simpsons, but no offense, the show jumped the shark a long time ago. How many people still watch it? Is the show still relevant?

Show hasn't been funny for 10 years (the movie was good, though.)

Although, I'm not part of the whole "Simpsons sucks now" crowd, I would be crushed if it was cancelled (Watching "The Simpsons" has been a life-long obsession for me).

I have always loved The Simpsons. There have been some really good new ones too. Honestly. :(

Agreed. It's the Tithonius of animated shows, here. It's about time it died a natural death.

I still love the Simpsons ._.

They can't do this. Fox barely has anything good left on their network.

Oh well...

The internet can help me get the seasons. :thumright:

I was watching a rerun a week or two ago, probably season 10/11ish, where they go to a fair and Bachman Turner Overdrive is playing and Homer is giving them crap for wanting to play their new songs and tells them to play Taking Care Of Business and You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet...then they get a horse at the fair and bring it home and turn it into a racehorse. Then i saw this Season's opener...and there was no comparison. I didn't laugh once in the new episode and it's like it wasn't even the same show. Same thing whenever I've turned on a new episode the past 6-7 years.

I used to love that show, but it passed it's prime quite a while ago :?

I used to watch it religiously...

tried to watch a new episode a few weeks ago and had to stop after about 2 minutes... it was corrupting my memories of the simpsons used to be... which was good...

I just found out that a deal was reached between Fox and the voice actors, and the show will be renewed for two more seasons.

In fact, Harry Shearer was willing to take a 70% pay cut.

While this is sad, I think we all knew it was going to happen eventually.
