Just wondering if there's any Death Note fans on here. It's my current obsession, lol! I just finished watching it last night.

Who are your favourite characters? Mine are L, Ryuk, Matsuda, Near and Mello. Misa was OK when she was young but she got a bit weird and mean when she was older.

My favourite character cannot be anyone other than L. I mean, this is Japan's ultimate answer to Sherlock Holmes.

Yeah I am a fan of Death Note, L is definetly my favirout character. I was quite obsessed with it myself about a year ago and since then I have purchased the DVDs, two of which I got figures with which are Sidoh and the Shinigami king, I also got the DVD of "L change the world". At first I thought the ending was kind of bad, but after a while I realised that it was a good end and one of the sad bits was how Light changed. Watching Death Note also opended me up to other anime aswell. And since from starting with Death Note now I mostly watch School life Moe anime .

I'm a Ryuk fan myself.

I am obsessed with Death note now, L and Near actually, they are my favorite characters.
I watched it a lot of times, and my room is full of L and N sings, and drawings. I have manga in english, and they are translating it into my language, that is the best thing that happen recently.
I like all the characters, especially Matsuda, but I just love L n Near...

Favorite characters are Light, Mello and Matt (he doesn't show up much..).

Used to be obsessed with Death Note; if you like Death Note you should try Liar Game (prefer the Manga but the series are...okay).

Favorite character without a doubt L. Near comes second, I had something against Mellow. Hated Light for what he's done to his father and sister and feel bad for his mother.

At first I was really confused by DN, since the protagonist is a self-righteous megalomaniac of a prick who think it´s OK for him to shape the world according to his own will and to kill anyone who gets in his way.
Then it struck me that maybe Light was intended to be a character you love to hate (well, there are hordes of Light fans who´d disagree with me on this, some even think his methods were just).
To me L and Near were the real heroes, since they did their best to stop Light.
