Jack Bauer's dad is going to be played by none other than Dr. Zefram Cochrane himself, James Cromwell. Better yet, Dr. Bashir (Alexander Siddig) is going to be joining the cast.

Hang about, I didn't know you were a Trekkie, werbert....

Problem is, you've come up against a Whovian, a Dwarfer and a Pythonite..... :twisted:

(On a side note, I actually didn't mind the movie Cromwell appeared in, "Star Trek: First Contact". But I'm not that much of a fan of the Trek serieses...)
