I'm a little bit obsessed with street style blogs, like the ones in this article:

I like looking at regular people's clothes much more than celebrities-- there's a lot more inviduality. I like Hel Looks (why are there so many stylish people in Helsinki, of all places?) and the Sartorialist the best. It's cool how he shows that everyone can have style, not just young sexy folk.
Has anyone checked out these blogs? What do you think?

Clothes merely cover the body, I see no point to them. If cops won't beat the s**t out of me for "Public Indeceny" I'd go around nude.

I find a lot of modern fashion to be rather hideous. Except some gothic clothing...I really like some of that. (Too bad most of the good stuff's so friggin' expensive, and that there isn't a lot of good stuff for males to wear.)

Hel looks is great 70% of the time, but the other 30% are just awkward-looking 15-year olds who think dressing up like a scarecrow and talkiong about how much they love Japan makes them unique. I get the idea: they're not afraid to look diffrent and express themselves yadda yadda yadda, but that doesn't change the fact the their outfits are contrived and often ill-fitting, and seriously any originality. If Hel looks stopped with the scarecrow parade, It would easily be the best streetblog out there. But until they do, that position goes to Meet Cute.

Also, I hate SthlmStil for reminding me how painfully boring my country is.

This article does have an excellent point however...that the clothing people actually wear is far different than what the industry attempts to dictate.
