I don't really think that there would be anyone else but me who likes to watch Jersey Shore. No one here (that I've seen) seems like they would watch it based on their interests and their views/ beliefs they post on other threads. Is there someone on here that can prove me wrong? In anyone actually DOES watch to show, what are your opinions about the drama going on on the shore this season?

I watch the new Beavis and Butthead remake on MTV. It's funny how they mock and make fun of Jersey Shore on almost every episode even though it's on the same channel.

I've not watched TV really since like June of last year. So yeah... That said, one day, they were having like a marathon of Jersey Shore on MTV, and my friend called me and persuaded me to watch it (he does this quite often with various television shows and youtube clips, calls me up and is like "YO YOU GOTTA WATCH THIS NOW.") I figured it'd be like, the type of thing I'd watch for 5 minutes, and change the channel. No.

Like how you slow down to see a car accident or a train wreck, that was Jersey Shore. I stayed up and watched it for like 4-5 hours. This was the first season. There's nothing about the show that makes it "good" but it's more like, you watch it and go "wow, this is really happening?" and you're glued to the TV, as you're just seeing something that's like, beyond your comprehension happening on the TV. "Did she really skip work because she's sad her boyfriend broke up with her? Did her boss really not fire her like promised? Wait a minute, they work at a t-shirt shop and all they do is exist, what kinda f*****g job is that, f**k I wish I had a job like that. What, she wants to talk to the boss of said job in the bathroom, what?" Basically, it's just a stream of "wtf" that keeps you glued to the television just because its absurdity. So yeah, I watched that big block of Jersey Shore once one day, and just never watched it again. Lost its novelty I guess.

This youtube video was probably instrumental in the creation of Jersey Shore as a show, really. Was quite a popular video back in the day, you being 15 might have never seen it, you'd have been 11 when it was first uploaded, so you might never have seen it, but behold.

Meh Jersey Shore is... What's that word... Overrated! I have tried to watch it before, but I really couldn't take it seriously. It's just incapable of holding my interest haha.

Jersey Shore in it's first two seasons was something of a guilty pleasure for myself hahaha. I haven't kept up with since then however.

I fail to see the appeal of a show about getting drunk and partying.

These idiots aren't even from "Jersey". The title of the show puts the real Jersey Shore in a bad light.
I'm from Southern NJ and we down here are really getting tired of being the butt of so many jokes because of North Jersey. We here actually have a saying. "South Jersey as the 51st state."

I guess this is going to continue to be a sore spot, though.

That being said, I did enjoy the spoof of "Jersey Shore" on "Bones" where Bones keeps referring to it as a documentary on the "Guido Tribe." Seeing bones do those ridiculous things to "communicate" with the tribe was way too funny.
