.

This show is a guilty pleasure for me. Once I started watching, I got hooked even though I consider it to be a pure fantasy despite the widespread belief that it is based on comparable events that have occurred in real life.

Watched the first couple of episodes of season 1 and meaning to get back to it. Seems sort of a slightly different take on a "Homeland" type of show.

I like both this and Homeland. Do you guys sometimes catch yourselves rooting for the "bad guys"? for Elizabeth and Philip or for Brody?

I can't get into any of these jingoist movies. Americans are nothing special to me. I grow weary of thee movies and tv programs which attempt to portray Americans as "exceptional." I know these programs are meant to be inspirational in some way but I find them divisive. I think creating programs which compare Americans to other peoples and portray others to be inferior to Americans only creates problems in the world.

Yes, and also countries need to be free to make most of their own content without that being undermined by imperialistic FTA's.

Just finished Season 1. They just finished airing Season 2, so I have to wait a while. They are going to do a Season 3.
