I am in love with Dexter. I think he's a cooler Aspie compared to House. LOL. That is, if he (Dexter) is indeed an Aspie. One of the best shows so far these past few years. :P

Oh my god YES. I love them both. Though I have a crush on another TV guy I think is Aspie, from Criminal Intent. Which is weird, because House and Dexter are actually attractive, and the detective I like...isn't.
I think I just have a thing for eccentric geniuses = )

While I'd be offended if anyone but anouther aspie suggested a comparison to Psyco/Sociopaths It really is the best illustration of what its like to be me. I'm one of those that emulate NT's. I didn't know until I was 22 and I was terrified of people finding out my secret, which I didn't even fully know. In fact I was visiting a friend who's father just died so I looked up the proper emotional response online and practiced in front of a mirror. The next episode I watch, he's doing the same thing.

I would love to see a show, or even an episode that shows how much an aspie is working to maintain the illusion and how NT's look from our point of view.
