Has anyone ever seen the 1932 MGM film directed by Tod Browning called 'Freaks'? Tod Browning directed the original Bela Lugosi 'Dracula' so he understands characters who are 'left of center' and abnormal. I don't say 'Freaks' decribes the folks on WP, but the movie is filled with pinheads, people who are misfits, people who are different, and people on the outside looking in - definitely required viewing.

We'd even have our own motto which was chanted in the film by the circus people: "We accept you, we accept you! One of us, one of us! We accept you, we accept you! One of us! One of us!"

Gabba Gabba Hey! Also the motto of The Ramones, but that's for a different thread. :D

I can provide some of the music for the film, riding the guitar while playing the bicycle (yes, I said that right!)

I may have seen or heard of this before, but now I know for sure where South Park came up with that Gooble Gobble One of Us chant in one of its episodes!
