This is the official thread to complain about annoying commercials.

I'll start with that stupid Subway commercial about avocados...there are two so I will do the best to describe the one I am speaking of. Anyways it starts with 3 people pronouncing the word avocado as if it would actually be hard to pronounce. Then it goes on to some cheesy female voice trying to make it sound all cool that they have avocado. Then some athlete claims it's the official training restaurant for athletes everywhere...what the hell is a training restaurant?

Anyways its played on my last.fm like 10 times and I found it annoying.

I am so allergic to advertising. All the irritating noises, repetition of stupid slogans, bright colours, smiling faces and blatent lies. I hate the way advertisers try to out do each other to make the most bizzare and ridiculous claims about their products. I tend to avoid most mainstream media. I agree with Banksy who pointed out that it is unfair that people get arrested for spraying painting a wall with graffiti when corporations are free to spread their advertising poison all over the planet.

This title grabbed my attention. I absolutely hate it. It's everywhere. Online, outside EVERYWHERE

I got rid of cable a year ago and only watch one show on tv now so I rarely see commercials but I was getting tired of all those Old Navy commercials.

What I really hate about commercials is that they don't even try to convince you to buy their products anymore, they've all turned into annoying mini sitcoms that aren't even funny. Yeah like I'm really going to buy your swiffer mop just so I can see if my old broom will become depressed once I dump him and sappy 80's music starts playing in the background.

Those stupid Maple Leaf Prime commercials with the depressing music in the background. Whenever I hear the music in those commercials I really feel like offing myself.

Any celebrity endorsed product. I kind of liked Emma Stone as an actress but I'm starting to not like her because of all the stupid makeup commercials she's in now.

Those stupid 15 minute Proactive commercials with Katy Perry and Jessica Simpson.

Any Subway commercial because they're long and annoying as well as those Dairy Queen commercials.

The Rogers family commercials with that sexist dad. You know the ones I'm talking about? For people in Canada. The dad has red hair.

I think I hate car commercials the most. Especially ones where you enter the car and suddenly rock bands are playing and tons of women are dancing and cheering for you. aaaaaaaarrrrrggghhhh! I also hate the one with the family in the car that starts making sound effects and singing Crazy Train. No, no, oh God no!

Anything with disproportionate or wildly fluctuating volume.

For example, a current Youtube commercial where a guy complains about the end of casual Fridays begins at "normal" volume, than rapidly increases within seconds until he yells at you through the speakers.

I am also allergic to commercials. They seriously piss me off big time. I made it a custom to mute, look away when they start. Also made a promise that i will NEVER in my lifetime will buy anything that has a dumb commercial along with it. It's just something about them.. forcing you, lying to you.. and the words "Buy now!".. seriously, you think this will affect my choice?

I screwed up my second year of college largely because I took a 'communications' class to try and learn some things about journalism, they told me that was the class for that. Anyways the teacher basically said the only hope we would have for jobs in the field is advertising. That on top of the fact she was being a b***h to me all because I missed the first day due to my schedule printing wrong.

Watch stuff on the net now.

Its a sh***y American restaurant that claims to have fresh ingredients, ha ha my ass....but I guess the publicity stunt works for them. Seriously though I could make a better sandwich with crap out of my moms garden.

Ads are the main reason I stopped watching TV.

I meant, i went to see the add by my self. On youtube it had 200 thousands views.
