It was stated as "asperger's" in the movie.

I thought it was good to see a film with a character presented positively, who was not just his behaviours, but a person who had talents and a variety of roles within his family, friends, church, and community.

In my opinion it was handled fairly well. I don't feel it was shown as a stereotype, but others might disagree.

I might go see it with my boyfriend. It looked good in the previews.

I enjoyed it alot---somelike of it was quite touching and made me cry. When he explained his feelings of not being accepted and feeling alone, it really hit home. I loved the movie.

Just saw this film in the cinema and really enjoyed it. I liked the character of Walter very much and felt they did a good job of portraying a person with Aspergers as more than just his ASD. The actor who played Walter was brilliant and it felt very real - so much so that I nearly cried during the scene when he tells his mum that if she loves him, she should hate god for making him this way.
