house the "aspie"

why does everyone think that house has aspergers. he clearly has no trouble reading social cues or being confident in his snide remarks. in fact he has no social trouble at all. if anything he is supposed to be a sociopath. i have never heard of an aspie being that malicious and cruel. he doesn't even have emotions!

I thought this was cleared up in "Lines in the Sand," when Wilson says to House, "You're not autistic. You don't even have Asperger's. You're just a jerk."

Well he does have a vicodin habit, that could contribute to the apathy...I am pretty sure he has emotions though, if you really follow the story line it seems like he has them and suppresses them a lot. Either way I find the show entertaining, and I don't even like medical/doctor shows.

to be honest i don't really watch the show much i just hear alot about his aspergers following. my friend cannot get enough of it and is convinced that the show is medically accurate

House is a sociopath or narcissist. He knows what he does when he makes those snide remarks. This is not what Apies usually do.
