This has been driving me crazy for so long now.

A guy gets killed and doesn't know he's a ghost until the very end.

What movie has that plot device? I don't watch a lot of movies.

Was it the one where my girlfriend Demi Moore got hooked up on the potters wheel with Patrick Sawazey? Now i think he knew he was a ghost when his hand first slipped on through her hand. That would seem to be a dead giveaway as in the manner of most ghost stories. Casper for example.

It's The Sixth Sense.

I know there was one where a guy and his wife got into a car crash and they thought they survived. But they found out they were ghosts when no one seemed to notice their presence. Its either that or The Sixth Sense.

The other one you are thinking of is likely Beetlejuice, though I would not be surprised to see multiple movies have used that setup.

Sounds like The Sixth Sense to me as well.

Seems like the old Twilight Zone series had dead folks walking around not realizing they was ghosts.
