Watching a movie, do you pause and rewind to pickup details.

I hate this but it is a mixture of not being very attentive and wanting to get all the details of the movie. For example I was just watching Fight Club for the first time and it took me 6 hours to finish the movie for the first time. My attention is not great, so I have to rewind a little to get the story but this movie in particular had so many secrets that at some parts there are subliminal pictures hidden in frames that I caught easily, so I watched those parts in super slow motion to see those pictures.

Yep, and worse, I'll mimic parts of it if I find something striking.

Only if I see something that other people don't.

Yes, absolutely. That's where Hulu's 10-second rewind button is very useful (and very used by me). :)

It is such a waste of time for me.

I sometimes rewind but I prefer to just watch to the end and then watch again some other day. Usually the second time I enjoy it more.

I do. On my favorite movies, I put in more effort to see the extra details.

I do. Most often it's because I thought I noticed a micro expression and I wanted to rewind it to be sure.

I've noticed that it can be difficult to hear the important lines as some are deliberately made hard to understand such as it is said quietly or has background noise with it, so i need to rewind to try to understand that line.

I watched The Hobbit last night, and Galadrial said something to Gandalf that I didn't quite hear. I had to rewind to hear what she said. Thankfuly I heard it the second time.

I've been frustrated enough to turn on subtitles because I can't hear something. One movie in particular (can't remember which one) drives me nuts becuase the subtitles don't have whatever has been said either.

yes I do that if I miss something or didn't hear what they said the first time.
