Call me an old fashioned nerd! But I still love reading asterix comic books
there is some great one liners in there!! considering the fact the series came out in the
early 60's!

obelix "These romans are crazy"! !

obelix "i'm not fat my chest just slipped a bit"

When cacafonix starts to sing all you could see is unhygenix taouting a mallet
ready to whack him with it!! !

Cacafonix tied up at the end of each epasode "when the village has there banquet!

I think that there were some video games made for that cartoon for the Nintendo 64 and/or Playstation. You could probably buy it from Amazon.com if you like video games.

I just went back and re-read the Asterix books after years of not reading them. Loved it. There was even a subtle, but adult joke in "Asterix and Son", where Impedimenta suggests that the baby abandoned outside Asterix's hut was fathered by Asterix.
