For any Tolkien fans, here is the second trailer for "The Hobbit" coming out in December. This is a prequel to Peter Jackson's "The Lord of The Ring's" trilogy. I don't know how they can make "The Hobbit" into three films but are going to, apparently:

I can't wait!! !

Don't want it to be split in three though. There's barely enough in the book for one film let only three! I don't know what their going to be showing. Hopefully it won't deviate from the book too much

I think it includes material extra material from the Silmarillion, which was also referenced in the appendix of "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King". That's why it's longer, it's not only the story in the book but it has extra material as well. I don't think that necessarily means it will deviate from the book but we'll have to wait and see.

Of Tolkein's books, I've only read The Hobbit and found it to be really dry and pretty much a dud. I LOVED the LOTR movies and can't really comment on how the source material was in those books, but I really hope the filmmaker's can make something decent out of what I thought was a pretty forgettable book.

The dragon is coming! The dragon is coming! :D

Sorry, I love dragons and I'm flipping out! Hurray!

There are several depictions of Smaug, do you think he'll be gold or red?

I hope he is red with gold coins, jewels, swords and armour fused into his soft underside.

I am capable of waiting, but I don't want to!

Propably red, as the book describe hime as red.

Some parts of the LOTR books were cut out for the movies. I was disappointed that they cut out Tom Bomadil and The Scouring of the Shire.

I saw this trailer in a large Imax theater before the movie Prometheus. I almost couldn't contain myself due to excitement.

In case you were wondering, yes, it was dreadfully loud...but hearing Howard Shore's wonderful compositions again negated that problem.

I am excited to see Gollum's crazy little scene. "We eats it, precious. Where is our birthday present? What's in his pocketses, Baggins?"
