Who watched? :) The king is a fascinating character, though in reality he didn't wear any sort of mask.

I didn't like it. It was boring and had a really bad hair-cutting scene in the end.

Ther director's cut is MUCH better and explains so much - I am just watching this :)

I saw this when it came out in the theater because of an interest in the Knights Templar. Thanks for the info on the director's cut--I didn't know there was one.

It's 50 minutes longer and explaining so much, adding a lot of new material (like more scenes at the beginning of the movie - the funeral, I mean; little Baldwin killed by his mother for he was leprous, too).
