Link - http://en.akinator.com/

The idea is that you think of a character and it asks a series of questions to find who that character is.

What's interesting is that as it asks simple yes/no questions there is no requirement of knowing the name of either the film or the character, so if there's a film you've forgoten the name of just think of either the character you know the most about or the one with the most striking characteristics, and leave the website to find it for you. It should tell you the name of the film underneath the character name; if not, Google the character name and find it that way. Simples. :)

Worked for me when I was looking for the film Metropolis, though the character I was thinking of was a robot so that might have made things easier.

I Defeated Akinator!

:king:

(My character was Marc W. Miller, the designer of "Traveller", a science-fiction role-playing game.)

I did it again!

:king:

(My character this time was Strephon Aella Alkhalikoi, Emperor of the Third Imperium, from the "Traveller" science-fiction role-playing game.)

Pleased to see I'm not the only guy on here who's a fan of FFG. :)
