I've seen it twice. Some cities are notorious for screening it at Midnight every Friday or Saturday nights. New Rochelle, NY was one of them. They used to play it at the RKO Proctor's and people used to dress up as Franknfurter, Riff Raff, Brad Majors, etc. I think they have it here in Seattle, too, but I'm not sure. Probably on Capitol Hill.

One of my favorites, too. I attended midnight shows with a live cast and audience participation half a dozen times in the 1990s.

I think it's a terrific, fun movie. I love the songs and characters. It's kind of a shame that the ending was such a downer though.

I used to go every month here in Lexington, KY. I still go whenever I have the money to go. I have a couple friends in the cast. The last time I went I was invited to an after party with the cast. The one who was playing Rocky has Asperger's syndrome, and so does my friend Jess who was recently invited into the cast.

I first saw it when it was still in the process of becoming a cult film.

I've only seen it on video and DVD. A friend of mine and I had always talked about going to a local theater years ago, that used to have regular midnight showings of the movie, along with fans dressing up as the characters and reciting lines. Unfortunately, our talk had never materialized into action, and so now the theater seems to have ceased the practice.
Who knows, maybe it'll come back. I know my wife would really love it.

I bought the double-disc DVD of this years ago on the cheap and was bored into submission by it (I seem to have picked up a general loathing of musicals), even though I really rather enjoyed seeing Richard O'Brien of the Channel 4 game show The Crystal Maze fame here in the UK.

In fact, I thought I'd share an episode with you, seeing as I like it so much. Ripped from the long-gone former free-to-air UK television channel Ftn (as can be evinced by the logo):

Definitely better when he was in it rather than Ed Chewed-a-Pole, but nevertheless.

Needless to say, I have no desire to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show again.

A lot of people tend to not like musicals in my family as well, i never understood why, you get everything in one. singing and acting together is brilliant if done well. i do think i prefer the phantom of the opera to rocky horror though, went to see phantom of the opera in london, one of the best things i have done. :D i do like the crystal maze, i watched it before rocky horror, was quite shocked when i recognised rif raf as the person from that programme.
