From the producers of Antiques Road Show (America) it is a PBS series that follows "Pickers" as they try to make deals at flea markets across the country to sell at a profit in New York and Los Angeles.

I love art deco, mid-century, and good old American Kitsch.....

The prized piece of furniture in my house is a high school wood shop book case built in 1950 in Seattle. It holds all my prized DVDs and comics....

For a while, I tried to make my living dealing in comics, sports cards, and kitsch on the interwebs.... It's a brutal business....

I guess one of the things I love about the show is how they don't hide how hard it is to make good deals. Sometimes the pickers only make $30-$50 on the week.... Sometimes they lose hundreds of dollars.

Anyways... It's a good show for anybody who likes old stuff and likes a bargain!

Yeah, I don't haggle well either... And haggling on the front end is where the all the profits are made.

You won't make a living if you can't consistently score stuff at below market value and sell at max market value.

Besides all the cool stuff on the show, the best part is watching the pickers haggle with their different styles.
