Pick your favourite series!

Of the Captains, who would win in hand-to-hand combat? On a Starship (of equal capabilities)? I personally feel that Shatner!Kirk is different from Pine!Kirk so you can make a case for them against each other.

Edit: Darn, I can't change the poll to include DS9! Thank you Venger for pointing it out to me, if someone can tell me how to edit it if possible please tell me because without it this poll is infinitely flawed.

Without TOS, there'd be no other series.

Agreed! I'm not sure if I should vote, don't want to skew the results or something. Classic trek is amazing. The Spock/Kirk dynamic is the best, it was a highlight of the series without overshadowing the rest of the characters.

That poll doesn't include Deep Space 9 even though it's arguably the best Star Trek series. :?

Shoot, thanks! I 'prefer' TOS because it was my first, but DS9 is really deep and has the character devo that some of the others didn't.

W O R D !

DS9 is, by far, the deepest and most interesting iteration of Star Trek.

The Next Generation, but that was also the first one I watched.

Most likely Sisko or Kirk's stunt double.

I think only mods can modify polls once votes have been cast.

I certainly would have cast a vote for DS9, were it available.

I have seen all of the series at least one each, and probably DS9 is the one I'd watch if I could ever only watch one again. However, TOS had cultural impact, and as someone born into the special effects era, I think the original series has the charm of a series that doesn't rely on sets or graphics (or in fact, acting). I found some of the more profound moments to come from TNG in the later series. The early series TNG are probably my least favourite, though it has been some time since I've watched voyager end to end. On that note, it's a shame Janeway was such a badly performed captain. Enterprise was much less 'Star Trek-y' than the others, and I like most of it apart from the unnecessary Nazi aliens (seriously, again?). It ended weakly, and I can't remember specific good points, but I get the impression that I like it.

You can't beat the original series, but second on the list should be Voyager. DS9 was just awful and I refuse to watch it.
