I know in many places people have come up with other "ideas."

Anyway, here are some I thought of that are not aforementioned HERE. (Including some people here may or may not know.)

1. Mr Bean.
Rowan Atkinson has been known to say that Mr Bean is not stupid. He is merely inept when it comes to social norms, but often comes up with ingenious solutions to the problems he finds himself in.

2. Lucius Hunt (Joaquin Phoenix) from The Village.
As he is very often reluctant to express his feelings verbally, and very likely hyperlexic.

3. Reg Hollis from The Bill.
He is decidedly the most eccentric character. His physical co-ordination is a little poor. He is constantly messing up the social rules. (But he's also very loyal and dedicated to his job.)

4. The Flax family (Cher, Winona Ryder, Christina Ricci) from Mermaids.
Because of their unusual characters. And both girls have their own obsessions (Charlotte with Catholic saints, and Kate with water, marine life, and swimming.)

5. Ishikawa Goemon from Lupin III.
He's quite withdrawn, rarely looks anyone in the eye, and also very precise with a sword (suggesting a high level of mathematical aptitude and sensory perceptions beyond the range of "normal")

Anyway... Maybe... Maybe not... (shrugs)

Hinata Hyuga from naruto. Shy, doesn't speak almost at all, dislikes fighting.

Why did i not think of that before, i watch that show all the time

What abut Shikamaru, from Ino's squad (the one that does the Shadow Possession Jutsu)? Okay, well maybe he isn't quite aspie, but you have to give him credit for having an IQ that's off the charts, and he's an excelllent strategist...

I'll go for a super-old reference and say Phileas Fogg from Jules Verne's novel Around The World in 80 Days.
He has no friends, his days are planned down to the last minute and unusually regular, never shows emotion even in extreme circumstances, is highly methodical and mathematical in his thinking and exceptionally driven when it comes to a few highly specific topics.
It is only in the last few pages that we even get the slightest indication that he is capable of displaying his emotions at all. A clockwork man with narrow focus. Loved him to bits :)

I know Monk is OCD, but I wonder if he could be an Aspie, too. For now, I will just leave it at OCD.

And what about Gil Grissom from CSI.

Tim

That robot/android called Andrew in Bicentennial Man is very AS.

In the beginning, he takes everything said to him literally.

Nice. I found this: http://www.answers.com/topic/chloe-o-brian

And I just realized I have been spelling her name as "O'Brien" rather than the correct "O'Brian." Dang. I could have sworn I read it somewhere as "O'Brien," but FOX has her listed as "O'Brian." My bad.

CRAP... ;-;

I REALLY want to read that, but I don't have an IMDB membership and therefore cannot. And it costs money to get one...

Can someone...possibly post the information directly in text?

Most definately those as follows (and I apologize if someone else has already said any or all of these):

* Mr. Spock from Star Trek
* Mary Bennet from Pride and Prejudice
* Almost any android character from any Sci-fi

I have also heard of Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) being an aspie, or at least having aspie characteristics.

I just found this site yesterday..

Anyone watch The Bernie Mac show? That Jordan kid in the show seems totally Aspie!!

Anyone watch "House"? That's my favorite show and I loved the one where Dr. House was freaking about them taking his blood stained carpet out of his office. At the end they said he had Aspergers. During the show Dr. House was dealing with an Autistic kid and he was the only person who understood the kid. I loved that episode. :D
